LIGHTS MEAN JUNIOR PROGRAMS,
REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS
& COMMUNITY EVENTS
Power means we can still play when it gets dark.
Power means we can build a club house,
where we can have cooking facilities, heating & air conditioning and TVs.
Power means running water for restrooms, and post-match showers.
When we get power, we will be the premier location to host a rugby match in the region.
We will be able to host night tournaments during the summer and
night matches for our various affiliates,
and everyone who comes to our pitch will have a more pleasant experience.

The Fundraiser closed October 2017 .
Money raised: $6050
of our
FUNDRAISING GOAL of $7500
To: PURCHASE LIGHTS, POLES &
PROVIDE ELECTRICITY TO THE FIELD
We spent about $3,500 as of 12/2019 on items related to providing lighting for the field.
$1200 for 15KW Diesel Generator + $400 for a required service + $200 for repairs for oil leak and wiring damage due to rats.
$1500 - 4 cob LED lights for the floodlights.
2015 - $692.75 for a secondary riser to be installed by CU.
October 2019 - $692.75 Refunded by CU - job order withdrawn.
With approximately $2500 left in the fund and with the imminent move to the new premises the club decided that this money should be used to open an investment plan with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. The SRFC Foundation Fund was created with By-Laws and a Board of Directors under SRFC 501C(3) tax exemption status to raise funds to help cover annual operating expenses. Therefore as of June 2021 the PTTP fund is now closed and all the money donated has been accounted for.
January 2017 - Engineering drawings prepared for 100 amp 120/240 single phase commercial service to the field location. Bids were submitted and estimates returned between $16K and $21K to do the job. Obviously, we need to raise more money to continue this project, but with the purchase of the 15KW Generator we can now power lights for training etc. The club now needs to spend the remaining money buying more lights to improve the training area for winter practices.
Additional recent club expenses for the property have included:
$2000 for the storage container.
$400 for blocks to build the shed.
$2600 for additional concrete slabs near the Pavilion.
$3900 for Dixie Chopper Commercial zero turn mower.
Feb 2017 - 15KW John R Hollingsworth Diesel Generator (1990)
