SRFC Golf Fundraising Tournament

First Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament: The Golf Fundraising event that took place on August 1st 2015 was a great success raising $1260 for the club. I wish to thank all those who took part - playing some amazing and not so amazing golf shots. It was a fun day by all and many have mentioned they look forward to next years' event. Thank you to the organizers, the helpers who certainly did an amazing job getting around the course selling and making sure all had a fun time.

We presented a Rugby Trophy to Springfield Golf & Country Club for their hospitality. They are, of course, looking forward to having us again this year!

2023 Spring Practices

Spring Season Training will be held every Tuesday & Thursday - 6.00 - 7.30 pm - starting Tuesday February 7th till late April.

*** Dress in layers. Bring water. Be ready for contact and fitness.

Remember “Fitness is Fun” if you wish to bring your partners for some rugby drills and fitness outdoors then invite them to come along.

We welcome all newcomers, oldcomers, late comers, early comers to training, and to our rugby matches as well! We were all new once, and we have all learned since. Please join us anytime.

Bring boots (cleats), shorts, water, and a mouthpiece.
Strictly NO DOGS - it's not a Dog Park!!

League Merit Table Games 2022-2023

We have 6 teams competing in the MARFU D3 Men's League this year. The teams are:

St L Hornets
St L Mercenaries
Columbia Outlaws
St L Royal Ramblers
Springfield
St L Sunday Morning

KC Blues * Suspended
St L Bombers * Suspended

League Merit Table Games:

Single Round-Robin: Each team plays each other once for a total of 5 regular season matches. Most likely 3 fall and 2 spring. At the end of the regular season the top four teams will play in a semi-final and final to see who advances to the Frontier playoff.

Drury U Head Coach

Drury University Vice President and Director of Athletics, Corey Bray, announced SRFC President, Bryan Bevel, as the first-ever head coach for the men's rugby program. Men's rugby is one of seven new club sports Drury will launch in the 2022-23 academic year.
