Slap on the Icy Hot, crank up those hearing aids, and don’t bother with the bifocals. It’s time for old boys rugby again!
BYOB (Bring Your Own Bibs) because we’re boiling enough crawdads again to clog every pacemaker in a 10-mile radius. Let’s work up an appetite by aggressively hugging each other until we remember why we only play once a year. Register your team below!

Don’t have a team? Don’t worry. We’ll duct-tape you to a side or create a “Mystery Meat XV” team from the leftovers. Contact Us and let us know so we can place you on a side.

Player Info:
All players must provide proof of registration (CIPP) prior to playing. We will have a tent set up where teams can provide proof of registration. Any individual player that does not have a team and is wanting to participate in the event the fee is $20 and will be collected, along with CIPP confirmation, on the day of the tournament. Contact Us in advance so we can place you on a team.
Note:
“At Large” CIPP’s are valid for only 1 week.
For players there will be craft beer and food provided at the facility after the final match is concluded.
Tournament Rules:
The normal laws of rugby as per the International Rugby Board (IRB) shall apply with the following law variations (unless varied by mutual agreement between teams and officials):
35 to 44 age group - Players must be 35 years of age or older.
35 to 44 age group - The game shall be 2 x 25 minute periods or as determined by mutual agreement.
Over 45 age group - Players must be 45 years of age or older.
Over 45 age group - The game shall be 3 x 15 minute periods or as determined by mutual agreement.
All 8 forwards must remain bound in the scrum until the ball has been cleared.
The half back must not follow the ball around the scrum.
There must be NO pressure scrummaging.
There shall be NO striking against the head by the hookers.
From a penalty there shall be no quick tap & all players shall retire 10 meters.
Players may kick the ball only in their own 22.
In line-outs all 8 forwards must take part.
Teams scoring a try shall restart the game by kicking the ball to the non-scoring team.
Substitution of any player is permitted at any time and a player substituted may return to the game at any time.
Players must observe the offside rule, particularly that of remaining behind the hindmost foot at rucks and mauls, 5M at scrums and a minimum of 10 meters at line-outs.
Sin Bin” (Yellow Card) lengths will be 5 minutes. Any player sent off for misconduct (Red Card) may be disqualified from further competition in the tournament. The game referee and the tournament committee have the final decision on a player’s ability to further compete in the tournament.
Breaking Ties:
A coin toss will precede a 10-minute sudden-death overtime period. If neither team scores, the winner will be determined by successive field goal tries starting at the 10-yard line and increasing distances of five yards for each additional kick required. Each team may nominate one player, that had participated in the game, to do the placekicking.

SHORT TERM/TEMPORARY REGISTRATION (Two Parts)
Part 1: Set up your RX profile (you may have already done this)
Go to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au
Enter in your personal email (NOT an admin/general email)
You may see “You don’t have a Rugby ID,” not to worry as once you enter more details the system will be able to pair you with your imported profile.
Select ‘sign me up’, and you will be redirected to enter in your personal details.
MAKE SURE that USAR National is selected and not Rugby Australia
If you see “We have found some profiles that might be you!” – select your profile, click continue.
You will be redirected to the Rugby Xplorer profile homepage
Part 2: Register as Senior Player (Weekly Membership)
Login to your profile (created using the steps above)
Select Register in the upper left hand corner.
Go to find a club, select your profile, and select next.
Search “At Large” (select At Large Senior Club) and select next
Choose the following options – Player, Senior Club, Weekly
Confirm all your personal information is correct
Upload a profile photo (or skip)
Confirm all additional personal details are correct
Update your emergency contact information
Review your Registration Summary
Agree to the terms and conditions
Select Pay
