Cure your winter blues with Springfield Rugby’s annual Bash at the Beach Indoor Sand Rugby Tournament!

Mark your calendars for March 7th! It will be 5-on-5 sand rugby rules, with two fields running, played on the highest quality sand in a climate-controlled dome.

​

This tournament pays homage to the glory years of professional wrestling. When you sign up, claim a wrestling team name before someone else does. We will announce entries and team names as we receive them.

​

We have space for 24 total teams, with each team guaranteed 5 matches @ 10 minutes each. Brackets for men’s, women’s, & high school levels.

​

Sand rugby is simpler and faster to play:
•No rucks/jackals: Tackled player pops the ball to their team, play continues.
•No lineouts or scrums: Ball is turned over to other team, tap and resume play
•No conversions: Simple score system. 1 try =1 point. Highest point total at the end of the game wins

Our incredible venue at Volleyball Beach has a full-service kitchen & bar so come set up your spot on the beach and escape the cold! We'll also have a tap takeover from our wonderful sponsor 4 By 4 Brewing!
