4 By 4 7s Tournament Recap

On June 14th the 2025 4 By 4 7s Rugby Tournament featured 22 teams from 14 different clubs traveling from 5 states! It was a perfect day for rugby as nearly 40 matches were played on two pitches with minimal injuries.
Hundreds of ruggers met at the Springfield Rugby Pitch in Brookline, Missouri to battle it out playing the fast paced Olympic version of rugby. Each team played at least 3 different matches lasting 14-minutes each with 7 players on each team.

It was an EXTREMELY competitive day for the men's sides. We had Genesis all the way from Utah show up and play some unforgettable rugby all day long. It was great to see the unique style they brought to the tournament!
The KC Blues showed up with 3 men's teams and a high school team which is absolutely crazy! They did very well on the day winning 2 of 3 finals.
Thank you to all the teams who traveled and played extremely well in muggy conditions. Also, thank you for all the feedback on the tournament. We'll make adjustments and do better next year!
🏆 Women's Cup Winner - Queen City Chaos
Well done to all 4 women's clubs who made it to 4 By 4 7s this year. They all played their heart out and made it a great day of women's rugby.
Congratulations to the home team Queen City Chaos for winning their second straight tournament in 2 weeks!
🏆 High School Boys Cup Winner - Jr. Patts
The high school division this year was electric! We're going to see a lot of these guys playing for the men's clubs soon and making BIG plays! Well done to the Jr. Patts for their win!
This tournament will always be the week of Flag Day and so a new tradition is born! We will bring back the flag theme again next year with a new design. We hope you wave your team flags proud this summer at all the tournaments you go to. Bring them back year after year until your camp is lined with them!
Thank you again to all the teams for traveling to Springfield and helping us make this one of the biggest and best 7s tournaments in the region. We could not do this without you. Every year the goal is to make the tournament more efficient and more fun for everyone. Thank you for coming back year after year!
