The Southern Missouri Force Rugby Football Club (Force RFC) is more than a team. It’s a movement.
We’re here to help build strong young men through rugby, teamwork, and community. Our mission is simple: help boys in the 417 area grow into disciplined, confident, and capable young men on and off the field.
Intro to Rugby Clinic
November 22nd from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the Springfield Rugby Pitch. This free clinic is your first step into something bigger than yourself. You’ll learn the basics, meet the coaches, and feel what it’s like to be part of a rugby brotherhood that pushes you to be your best.
Afterward, join us just down the road at Allison Sports Town to watch a big a men's National Collegiate Rugby match kicking off at noon. It’s a chance to see where hard work and teamwork can take you.

Who are we?
Force RFC is a brand-new high school rugby team under the Springfield Rugby Football Club umbrella and we’re ready to make our mark.
We train at the Springfield Rugby Pitch and Allison Sports Town, competing every spring against teams from St. Louis, Kansas City, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Our mission: to teach young men the game of rugby, develop leadership, and compete with heart, passion, and respect.

Force RFC follows all USA Rugby and local high school guidelines to keep our players safe, eligible, and proud to represent the Force.
Eligibility

Open to all high school boys (grades 9–12) in Springfield and surrounding areas

Must register with USA Rugby (for insurance coverage)

Must commit to safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship

Every player signs a Code of Conduct because character matters here
Our Safety Promise
We don’t take shortcuts when it comes to our players’ well-being. Every athlete learns proper tackling techniques, concussion awareness, and injury prevention. Parents, your son will be in a structured, positive, and disciplined environment built around mentorship and growth.
Clinics and Training
We’re fired up to introduce rugby to new players and help returning athletes level up.
Join our Intro to Rugby Clinic on November 22nd, and keep an eye out for more winter sessions. These are open to all high school aged boys whether you’ve played sports your whole life or are brand new to the game. We will train you!
