What a fall it has been for rugby in Springfield! There's a lot of growth this year and we're excited for what next year brings. We'll give you a short breakdown of how the Chaos and the Mudpuppies have done so far this fall.
But wait! Fall rugby isn't over!
Please join us on November 8th for the annual Jimmy Stewart Cup. This day of rugby every year is in remembrance of our fallen ruggers and supporters. We honor those that came before us by playing in two cross-town friendly matches.
Coach Alli Haug and the Queen City Chaos will kickoff at Noon against Katie Scott's Drury Panthers. At 2:00 PM, Coach Benjamin Thomas and the Mudpuppies will kickoff against Bryan Bevel's Drury Men's Rugby! For more details and live updates checkout our event on Facebook here.

Queen City Chaos
Fall 2025
Aug 23 - Chaos @ Wichita Valkyries
Loss 72 - 5
The Chaos made the long trek to Wichita with mostly rookies. The Valkyries won but we developed a lot of new players. Hip-hip-hooray!
Sept 13 - Chaos @ Columbia Sheep/Sabres
Loss 27 - 19
What a match up in Columbia, Missouri at the beautiful Gans Creek. The Chaos traveled strong but fell just short against a mixed Sheep/Sabres side.

Sept 27 - St. Louis Sabres @ Chaos
Loss 14 - 59
A strong Sabres side traveled to Springfield and put a great showing against the Chaos. A great day of rugby and fantastic photos from match photographer Charles Watwood.
Oct 4 - Chaos @ Fayetteville Phoenix
Win 22 - 34
The first win of the season for the Chaos comes on the road in Arkansas! Well done ladies!!!

Aug 30 - KU Jayhawks @ SRFC
Win 45 - 12
We started the season out picking up a b-side match against KU after they played Drury. A great start to the season!

Sept 6 - SRFC @ Springfield Celts 10s
3rd Place
We took 10 rookies to Springfield, Illinois for the second year in a row. It's a great way for us to add depth and experience.
Sept 27 - SRFC @ KCRFC
Win 24 - 41
A massive road win against divisional powerhouse KCRFC! Man of the Match goes to Daniel Cardoso.
Oct 4 - KC Northland @ SRFC
Win 34 - 17
A big divisional win at home despite a second half surge from Northland. Big Luke Byrd awarded Man of the Match.
Oct 25 - SRFC @ KC Blues
Loss 31 - 28
The Mudpuppies traveled light to Kansas City to battle a tough divisional rival in bad weather. We fought hard but came up short.

NCR is also partnering with Ozarks Food Harvest for a holiday food drive. Fans who bring 5 canned goods will receive half-off parking, which is $10 for the weekend or $5 for the day. This will be a great way to enjoy some quality rugby and give back to the Springfield community.
